Western Poem

17 Jul

My Father was an only son,
My Father was an only son,
He died by the barrel of a gun,
My Father was an only son.

My girl, she left me with none,
My girl, she left me with none
She’ll die by the barrel of a gun,
My girl, she left me with none.

My body is broken and numb,
My body is broken and numb,
I’ll walk into the dead setting sun,
My body is broken and numb.

My Father was an only son,
My Father was an only son,
He died by the barrel of a gun,
My Father was an only son.
